Regina Louise is the author of Permission Granted. Her bestselling memoirs Somebody’s Someone and Someone Has Led This Child to Believe were made into the award-winning Lifetime movie I Am Somebody’s Child: The Regina Louise Story, which was nominated for the 2020 NAACP Award for Best Director. A summa cum laude graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies with a master’s of fine arts degree, Regina is a Hoffman Process Teacher, workshop facilitator, and motivational speaker who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her story has been featured in media outlets like NPR’s All Things Considered, Good Morning America, The CBS Early Show, The Tavis Smiley Show, and many more.
