Kenny J. Wilkins


Kenny J. Wilkins hails from the quaint town of Englewood in Northern New Jersey, where his musical journey began under the influence of legends like Silvia Robinson and Dizzy Gillespie. With a strong foundation in church music and his father's guidance, Kenny's passion for music blossomed. In the early 90s, he delved into music production and mastered various instruments such as drums, keyboard, organ, bass guitar, and guitar. His involvement in diverse projects spanning Hip Hop, R&B, Latin, and Gospel music solidified his place in the industry. Graduating from the Institute of Audio Research in Manhattan equipped him with the skills to propel his career forward. Kenny's contributions

to RIFF, including performances on notable tracks like "A Very Special Christmas" and "On This Day" which were written and produced by him as well as,showcased his talent. His versatility shone through in the music video for "Relax" and RIFF's rendition of Chicago's "You're the Inspiration". Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Kenny's dedication to his craft remained unwavering. His recent releases, such as "Love Is All We Need" and "You're A Woman", have garnered widespread acclaim. With upcoming shows, a Hollywood Independent Award nomination, and the highly anticipated EP "Back To Rhythm and Love: Volume 1" which was released on July 10th, Kenny's future in the music industry looks promising. As of June 2024, Kenny is now a part of the Recording Academy (Grammys)
