Racism is one of the most charged issues today. Yet many white people feel confused about what to say, how to act and what to do This workshop will use arts-based, creative and reflective practices to help white people talk about race, explore our privilege, and strengthen our courage to take meaningful action. By examining white culture we seek to demolish racism and heal the effects of the legacy of racism in our personal lives, communities and systems.
Use healing tools to not just survive, but to thrive! Sharing Digene's stirring memoir you will learn about her personal journey from hate, shame and fear to acceptance, healing and self-love. Digene will share her experiences through trauma and how to strive for healing through goal setting to empower and inspire others to fulfill the life of their dreams.
